Our Sports Hall is currently undergoing some maintenance work commissioned by Denbigh Academy.  We are currently unable to offer any Sports Hall bookings.  We are hopeful the Sports Hall will reopen in early January 2024.  More specific details will be communicated nearer the time.

Are you looking for Badminton court hire in Milton Keynes? Shenley Leisure Centre is just the place for your next game of badminton. Badminton is an easy sport to learn and can be a very social game. The speed of the shuttlecock makes this one of the quickest of the racket sports, however it can be played at any pace making it enjoyable for all ages. Those wanting a lower intensity rally can catch up on the chat at the same time, but for others a competitive game may be the way forward. Singles and doubles can be enjoyed depending on how many people are available.

Badminton works your entire body; your legs are moving you around the court, and your upper body helps you to hit the perfect return so it’s a great all round workout.

We have 4 badminton courts available to book for casual use or regular block bookings. Our courts are available to book 7 days a week for the following times:

• Monday to Friday (school term time) – 5:30pm-10:30pm
• Monday to Friday (school holidays) – 9:30am-10:30pm
• Weekends – 9:30am-10:30pm

Other Activities at Shenley Leisure Centre

As well as our fantastic badminton courts we have a number of other popular sports available at the leisure centre, including squash court hire. We have two squash courts that are both available for casual hire 7 days a week in slots of 45 minutes. For up-to-date pricing on our squash courts please visit the Squash page. In addition we also have table tennis hire available 7 days a week with bookings on 1 or 2 tables at a time.
