What’s happening at our Sports bar and Café in Milton Keynes?
We offer a mixed variety of activities inside the venue so why not grab your friends and play a game of pool or throw some darts? We also hold weekly Quizzes and, Eyes down for Bingo hosted by Shenley Leisure Centres 60+ group. You can also have a shot at the fruit machine located in the bar or enjoy music from our juke box that contains songs from days past to the most modern tunes.

Live Sky Sports & BT Sport
We have the perfect setting to watch all the big live sports events, wherever you sit, you will have a great view of one of our many screens.
We have BT Sports and Sky sports allowing us access to the best sporting events and even the Box office events.
Any sporting event, you name it we will show it, – Premiership, Champions league, FA Cup, Wimbledon, Formula 1, Six Nations rugby – You get the picture!
Celebrations and Events
Here at the sportsman’s Rest we love a celebration so why not use our venue to make your occasion a special one? We have a whole host of hiring options and can cater for Wedding receptions, Christenings, Birthdays Big and Small along with helping you to remember a loved one in a celebration of life.
Our venue can hold up to 100* people in the main bar, or for a smaller party we have an annex that can hold 50* people (this also has access to our main bar) or why not go all out and hire the full venue! (*Venue Capacity depends on current government guidelines at time of booking)
You’re welcome to use your own DJ’s, Entertainers or clowns but if you do need a hand let us know and we will be more than happy to contact one of our local suppliers.
Shenley Leisure Over 60s Group
This young at heart group have been running at Shenley leisure centre for over 20 years, they meet every Tuesday from 2pm until 4pm to stay social and in touch with their friends.
Its free membership but they raise funds with the weekly Tuesday bingo, raffles, grants and a regular quiz organised by the centre.
The group regularly arrange Days out which have included MK Theatre, Blenheim Palace, Cotswold Wildlife Park and of course their yearly Christmas Party.
